Realtek hd audio manager windows 7 headphones not working

I recently reinstalled Windows 10 on my computer and i had to download Realtek HD Audio Manager again. But now it's not working, the program won't open, there's no icon in the taskbar and no message appears if i plug my headphones in. I tried reinstalling the audio manager, but it didn't help. Any tips?

I have a plantronics USB headset I purchased a couple of weeks ago. However when I open Realtek HD Audio Manager, the headset (and microphone) does not show up; my speakers do though but they're not USB speakers.
